Job Description

As an Actuarial Science Associate, you will work closely with seasoned actuaries and analysts to provide insights that drive business decisions. Your role will focus on data analysis, risk assessment, and developing predictive models to support our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical analysis on various datasets to identify trends.
• Participate in team projects and contribute to model improvements.
• Develop reports highlighting analytical findings and insights.
• Assist with the implementation of new actuarial software.
• Support financial audits by providing necessary data.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for actuarial studies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all analyses.
• Stay updated on actuarial standards and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics
• Master's degree or relevant certification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years working in an actuarial capacity

Technical Skills

• Tableau
• SAS

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Fellow of the Actuarial Society (FASSA)
• Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with actuarial software tools: Experience with software such as Prophet or MoSes.
• General knowledge of investment products: Basic understanding of financial instruments and investment strategies.
