As a Financial Analyst in our Cape Town office, you will be integral in evaluating financial performance and preparing insightful reports for upper management. Your role will involve liaising with various teams to support business strategies that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial performance against forecasts and budgets.
• Prepare and distribute timely financial reports to management.
• Provide insights into financial results and trends.
• Analyze operational costs to identify opportunities for savings.
• Support the preparation of year-end financial audits.
• Enhance reporting processes using the latest financial tools.
• Collaborate with cross-department teams for financial initiatives.
• Train junior analysts and assist in their development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related course
• MBA is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience

Technical Skills

• Excel Analytics
• SQL

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• CFA Level II or above
• CPAs preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau: Hands-on experience with visualization tools for reporting.
