UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate UX/UI Designer to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will create user-centered designs and collaborate closely with developers to implement new features. Your creativity will help enhance our digital products while ensuring a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze user needs and preferences.
• Develop user flows to map out the optimal user journey.
• Produce design specifications and documentation for developers.
• Test and validate design concepts through user feedback.
• Ensure consistency across all design aspects of the brand.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design and implementation

• Sketch

Certifications

• UX Certified by Nielsen Norman Group
• Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in animation design tools: Experience using tools like Principle or After Effects for interactive design.
