Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in Port Elizabeth. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient care and safety, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across various departments, ensuring a high standard of care is upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to develop nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and IV treatments according to protocols.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and medical teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment administered.
  • Train and mentor nursing students and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Registered Nurse License in South Africa
Experience
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
