Job Description

As a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk, you will ensure accurate procurement of materials and manage inventory levels efficiently. Your role is fundamental in keeping the production line moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a fabric inventory database.
  • Oversee the ordering and delivery processes for fabric materials.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to schedule fabric use effectively.
  • Monitor and report on fabric usage and stock levels.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and recommend new fabric suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the textile industry
Technical Skills
  • Supplier databases (e.g., SAP)
  • Inventory management software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Soft Skills
  • Negotiation skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
