As a Tax Specialist with Expert Tax Solutions, you will be responsible for advising clients on tax matters and compliance with local laws. Your role will involve preparing tax filings, advising on tax implications of business decisions, and keeping abreast of new legislation to provide proactive insights for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals and organizations.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies and compliance.
• Conduct research on tax legislation and interpret legal implications.
• Assist clients in tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional service.

• Prepare and present tax compliance reports and findings.
• Collaborate with the financial team to align tax strategies with business objectives.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional tax certification (e.g. CIMA, SAIT) preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory
