Responsibilities

• Locate and assess timber resources for sustainable harvesting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on forest management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations in all harvesting activities.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of logging equipment.
• Record data related to timber size, species, and quality.
• Engage in public outreach to educate on sustainable forestry practices.
• Prepare reports for management on timber harvesting and forest health.
• Participate in community engagement efforts regarding forestry impact.
• Facilitate smooth communication between logging teams and management.
• Contribute to ongoing training and development in forestry best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in forestry or a related field
