IP Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IP Analyst to join our Johannesburg team. This role involves supporting our intellectual property practice with a focus on research, analysis, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of IP law and a track record of providing effective legal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts related to IP rights.
• Research and prepare reports on potential IP infringement cases.
• Assist with the strategy and execution of IP litigation.
• Provide insights on technological developments affecting IP.
• Prepare presentations for client meetings related to IP matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel on IP issues as needed.
• Support the training and development of junior staff members.
• Monitor and report on competitors' IP activities.
• Manage various IP databases and client records.
• Assist in creating content for IP-related marketing material.
