Job Description

We are searching for a Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, be hands-on, and have experience with maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical repairs and coordinate tasks among team members.
• Research and recommend parts and tools for mechanical jobs.
• Collaborate with suppliers to procure mechanical components.
• Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in a mechanical technician role
