Natural Gas Plant Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Natural Gas Plant Supervisor to oversee the operations of our plant facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring the safe and efficient production of natural gas, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient gas processing and distribution while adhering to all safety standards.
• Lead team meetings to discuss goals, concerns, and procedural updates.
• Develop training programs for plant staff to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and operational standards.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for process improvement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance operational collaboration.
• Oversee the budgeting and financial management of plant operations.
• Participate in the development of emergency response protocols and practices.
• Engage in continuous learning and development initiatives relevant to industry best practices.
• Document and report incidents and operational variances promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
• Additional training in project management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity within the energy sector.
