Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter, you will evaluate insurance applications and assess risks to determine coverage levels and premiums. Your analytical skills will play a critical role in ensuring that we provide accurate and fair pricing for our clients. You will collaborate closely with agents and brokers to understand client needs and develop tailored insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis for insurance applications.
• Collaborate with the sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Review claims data to identify trends and improve underwriting accuracy.
• Maintain records and ensure proper documentation for each application.
• Provide insight and recommendations for risk management strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related discipline
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting or risk analysis

• CPCU certification or equivalent
