SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our vibrant team based in Johannesburg. In this role, you will develop and implement effective search engine optimization strategies that enhance our clients' online visibility and performance. You will work closely with content and design teams to ensure the best user experience and optimal search results.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEO initiatives for multiple clients, tailoring strategies to meet specific needs.
• Analyze SEO performance metrics and suggest actionable improvements.
• Work alongside digital marketing teams to support PPC and social media efforts.
• Provide SEO insights to inform content marketing strategies.
• Engage in link-building activities to increase domain authority.
• Monitor algorithm changes and assess their impact on SEO performance.
• Assist in the development of client presentations and reports focusing on SEO results.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree preferred, but not essential
• Google Ads certification is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in SEO or digital marketing preferred

Technical Skills

• Content Management Systems (WordPress, Joomla)
• Social Media Marketing

Certifications

• HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification
• SEO Certification from a reputable institution

Languages
