Job Description

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in structural design and analysis, with a passion for innovative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for developing designs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design projects from conception to completion.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to integrate design elements.
  • Perform risk assessments and feasibility studies for proposed projects.
  • Review project plans and documentation for accuracy.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders highlighting project progress.
  • Implement innovative materials and design methods to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous.
Experience
  • Min. 5 years in structural engineering roles.
Technical Skills
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
