We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in structural design and analysis, with a passion for innovative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for developing designs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement sustainable practices in structural design.
• Conduct reviews of project bids and make recommendations.
• Review and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Resolve any structural design issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest engineering practices.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous.

Experience

• Min. 5 years in structural engineering roles.

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Revit

Certifications

• Certified Engineering Technician (CET)

Languages

• English: Fluent
