Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages.
• Perform routine check-ups and preventive care.
• Manage chronic illnesses and complex health issues.
• Consult with patients about their health concerns.
• Maintain clear and organized patient records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding lifestyle modifications.
• Respond to medical emergencies as required.
• Participate in community health initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist registration in Family Medicine is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in General Practice or Family Medicine

Certifications

• Registered with the HPCSA
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
