Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at our Durban facility. In this role, you will work closely with patients, designing and implementing treatment plans that promote healing and rehabilitation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping others and have a strong clinical background.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments to determine rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families on injury prevention and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in training and team development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Postgraduate degree such as a Master's in Physiotherapy preferred

Experience

• Preferred 3+ years of relevant experience post qualification

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience in Sports Physiotherapy: Knowledge of rehabilitation specific to sports injuries and recovery.
• Specialization in Geriatric Care: Experience working with elderly patients in rehabilitation.
