We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our vibrant team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring medication safety, providing expert advice to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews and patient consultations regularly.
• Manage medication reconciliation processes to prevent errors.
• Advise on drug interactions and side effects to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Ensure pharmacy equipment is maintained and operational.
• Assist in formulating drug utilization reviews for critical cases.
• Conduct public health initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Pharmacotherapy Certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical pharmacy role

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology
• Healthcare Regulations

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
• Medication Therapy Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
