Job Description

As a Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor, you will take charge of the daily operations of our food services department. Your role will be critical in ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and the delivery of safe, high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food services department.
  • Ensure meals are prepared safely and meet nutritional standards.
  • Train kitchen staff on food safety and preparation techniques.
  • Coordinate with dietitians to develop meals for special dietary needs.
  • Evaluate and enhance service delivery and quality of meals.
  • Develop budgets and manage department costs effectively.
  • Address customer complaints and feedback promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations during inspections.
  • Collaborate with supply chain for inventory efficiency.
  • Implement food waste reduction strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, or a related field
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management, particularly in healthcare
