Job Description

We are looking for a Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. In this role, you will administer assessments, offer counselling to clients, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support mental health initiatives. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on individuals' well-being by providing quality therapeutic services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients requiring psychological services.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches and techniques.
  • Foster a supportive, non-judgmental environment for clients.
  • Engage in peer supervision and professional consultation.
  • Participate in outreach programs aimed at mental health awareness.
  • Assist clients in developing coping strategies and life skills.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment methods accordingly.
  • Provide referrals to specialized services as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology
  • Additional training in family therapy preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a mental health setting
