Job Description

We are looking for a Psychologist to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. In this role, you will administer assessments, offer counselling to clients, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support mental health initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret diagnostic tests to assess mental health conditions.
  • Facilitate therapy groups and workshops to promote mental health awareness.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Coordinate care with external agencies and community resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support in urgent situations.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues and treatment options.
  • Contribute to research and development of mental health programs.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and mental health needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology
  • Additional training in family therapy preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a mental health setting
