Retail Salesperson (Shoe Salesman)

Job Description

As a Retail Salesperson in our shoe store, you'll be the friendly face our customers see as they search for the perfect pair of shoes. You will assist customers in navigating our collections, help them find footwear suited to their needs, and provide excellent customer service to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting footwear that meets their needs.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable advice on products.
• Stay informed about upcoming promotions and sales to maximize sales opportunities.
• Help maintain the inventory system to track stock levels accurately.
• Support visual merchandising efforts to enhance in-store displays.
• Collaborate with the team to execute promotional activities effectively.
• Process transactions accurately at the point of sale.
• Engage customers with product demonstrations and expert recommendations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment for staff and customers.
• Contribute to a fun and energetic team atmosphere.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate (Grade 12)

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is highly advantageous.

• Point of Sale (POS) Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with E-commerce Sales: Familiarity with selling shoes in an online environment.
