The role involves providing comprehensive dental care, including check-ups, preventative treatments, and aesthetic procedures, while ensuring patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency dental care as required.
• Supervise dental assistants during procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in continuing education to expand skills.
• Contribute to marketing efforts to attract new patients.
• Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry or equivalent
• Master's degree in Dentistry is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a dental setting

Technical Skills

• Expertise in cosmetic dentistry
• Knowledge of sedation dentistry

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Advanced Dental Sedation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Advanced training in orthodontics: Specialized knowledge in braces and aligners.
• Experience with dental implants: Practical experience with surgical and restorative implant procedures.
