Job Description

We are on the lookout for a reliable Machine Feeder and Offbearer to join our team. The role includes operating trucks to deliver goods and ensuring the utmost safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive heavy-duty trucks safely to deliver goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from the vehicle.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes as outlined.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on the truck.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and dispatchers.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with hazardous materials is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Teamwork skills

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the transportation of hazardous materials: Knowledge and capability to handle hazardous materials safely.
• Familiarity with electronic tracking systems: Experience with technology for tracking delivery routes.
