We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to enhance our engineering team in Midrand. You will be involved in the design and analysis of structures, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure all specifications are met. Strong communication skills and a project management mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze complex structural systems.
• Prepare construction documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure design integrity.
• Review project budgets and schedules for feasibility.
• Implement best practices in structural design.
• Assess risks and provide solutions during the engineering process.
• Utilize software for efficient design and analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
• Stay current with advancements in engineering technology.

Requirements

Education

• BEng or BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS)
• AutoCAD
• Project Management Tools (e.g., MS Project)

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng)

Languages
