Job Description

The Heavy Equipment Engine Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling heavy machinery engine components. We are looking for a skilled mechanic who can diagnose engine problems accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and identify parts that require repair or replacement.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices and repair techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations during repairs.

Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in a mechanical field is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience with heavy machinery is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Good knowledge of welding equipment: Experience with welding for repairs and fabrication.
