Job Description

As a Light Truck Driver, you will be tasked with transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. Your role will be vital in ensuring the timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload various types of cargo.
• Manage route planning to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
• Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and manifests.
• Assist in training new drivers when necessary.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report any issues immediately.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial setting.

Technical Skills

• Basic vehicle maintenance
• Heavy vehicle operation

Soft Skills

• Time management

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Hazardous Materials Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
