Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

Looking for a talented and motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our growing team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will assess and interpret data to make recommendations that will impact the financial health of our organisation. A keen eye for detail and adeptness with actuarial software will allow you to contribute effectively to our objectives while working closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement actuarial software tools to optimize analytics processes.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess potential impacts of changes.
• Participate in team discussions to drive best practices in analytics.
• Ensure accurate documentation of actuarial methodologies and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's level in Actuarial Science or a quantitative field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in relevant actuarial roles

Technical Skills

• Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Risk Modeling Techniques

Certifications

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent
