DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to work in our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, along with optimising our cloud infrastructure. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiencies and ensure operational excellence. A strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to upgrade and improve CI/CD systems.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.
• Conduct technical assessments and optimization of deployed applications.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration for project delivery.
• Document processes and create reports on application performance and infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps methodologies

Certifications

• Google Professional DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with microservices architecture: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications.
