We are looking for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our vibrant team in Durban. Your role will involve assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and manage medication distribution.
• Assist in pharmacist-led patient education sessions.
• Monitor and report any medication discrepancies.
• Implement pharmacy services to enhance patient care.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or similar

Experience

• 2+ years of pharmacy or healthcare experience

• Compounding Skills

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in hospital pharmacy settings: Background working in a clinical environment.
