DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and best practices for continuous integration and delivery. Your role will be crucial in enhancing our infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and ensuring the reliability of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications and services.
• Implement infrastructure as code to provision and manage tools and services.
• Research and recommend new tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Implement security best practices in all cloud operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Kubernetes
• Monitoring Tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
