Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forging Machine Setter/Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining forging machines, ensuring the production of high-quality metal parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging machinery including hammers, presses, and rolls.
• Adjust machine settings for optimal material yield and quality.
• Conduct quality control inspections of finished products.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Help in the preparation of production schedules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for production efficiency.
• Record production information and maintain accurate logs.
• Work with other departments to coordinate workflow.
• Assist with inventory management of raw materials.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating forging or related machines
