Job Description

The Silver Blasting Miner will oversee blasting operations in underground mines ensuring the safe extraction of silver and other precious metals. This roles requires detailed knowledge of blasting practices and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of drilling and blasting for silver extraction.
• Ensure operational efficiency and safety during blasting activities.
• Maintain accurate records of blast performance and outcomes.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality.
• Assess blast site conditions and recommend design changes as necessary.
• Participate in safety audits and implement improvements.
• Engage with local communities and environmental stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Blasting Certificate
• Chamber of Mines Certificate
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in blasting operations within a mining environment.

Languages
