Job Description

The Material Handling Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including the sorting, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory and orders.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse team members and management.
• Assess performance metrics and report on team productivity.
• Engage in conflict resolution within the team and maintain morale.
• Plan and execute training programs for continuous skill enhancement of warehouse staff.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment
