Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Supply Chain Manager to lead our Johannesburg operations. This position involves coordinating supply chain activities, improving processes, and managing logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. Your leadership will be key in driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of supply chain plans.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate communication between departments to enhance supply chain activities.
• Manage logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Utilize software tools to enhance supply chain visibility and reporting.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement within logistics operations.
• Prepare risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions.
• Contribute to the development of long-term supply chain growth strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends to inform strategic planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of managerial experience in supply chain operations
