Job Description

We are seeking a creative Architect to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate should possess a strong design sensibility and a passion for sustainable architecture. You will be responsible for managing various projects from conception to completion while collaborating closely with clients and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Conduct site assessments and investigate project site conditions.
• Create detailed architectural drawings and documents using CAD software.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
• Develop sustainable design solutions by integrating green building practices.
• Participate in design reviews and client presentations to ensure project alignment.
• Mentor junior architects and interns within the firm.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience in architecture

• Building Codes
• 3D Visualization Software

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
