Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, demonstrate compassion for patients, and work well within a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, and implementing care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications and manage IV access.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Support the emotional and psychological needs of patients.
• Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives within the nursing unit.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare role

Languages

• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Certification in wound care: Specialized training in managing and treating wounds.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
