Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal healthcare and be responsible for diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. You'll work closely with pet owners to educate them about preventive care and wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform surgeries and manage anesthesia.
  • Consult with clients to discuss treatment options and costs.
  • Provide follow-up care and support to pet owners.
  • Maintain inventory of medications and surgical supplies.
  • Be proactive in identifying potential health issues in animals.
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs.
  • Advocate for animal welfare and ethical treatment of animals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
Experience
  • 5+ years in a clinical environment
