We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments and developing strategies to mitigate environmental impact. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in environmental science, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in sustainability practices.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on environmental issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in environmental consulting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related discipline is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy

• Environmental Policy Analysis
• Data Analysis Software

• Critical Thinking
• Presentation Skills

Certifications

• Environmental Impact Assessment Certification
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient

• Knowledge of Renewable Energy Sources and Technologies: Experience in promoting and implementing renewable energy initiatives in projects.
• Advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Skills: Proficiency in GIS software for environmental mapping and analysis.
