Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Pathologist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in veterinary pathology with the ability to conduct diagnostic analyses that support our commitment to animal healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret laboratory results, providing clear recommendations to veterinarians.
  • Conduct necropsies and provide expert opinions on cause of death.
  • Support veterinary personnel in all aspects of sample analysis.
  • Ensure laboratory safety and compliance with health regulations.
  • Implement quality control measures to enhance laboratory standards.
  • Attend veterinary conferences and workshops to keep up with industry developments.
  • Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Specialization in Veterinary Pathology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a veterinary pathology role
