Explosives Truck Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Explosives Truck Driver to safely transport explosives materials from the storage facility to various designated sites. The successful candidate will ensure all safety regulations and guidelines are followed strictly throughout the transportation process.

Responsibilities

• Transport explosives materials with a valid Code 14 license.
• Ensure the safety of the load during transit.
• Report any delays or issues during transport to management.
• Participate in training sessions on safe explosive handling and transportation.
• Ensure the truck is equipped with necessary safety equipment and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Forklift Operator Certification (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience in transporting hazardous materials is preferred.

Technical Skills

• GPS navigation systems

Certifications

• Hazardous Materials Transportation Training

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Previous experience as an Explosives Truck Driver: Demonstrated expertise in transporting explosives safely.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages: Enhances effectiveness in a diverse work environment.
