Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Manager to play a key role in managing construction projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, executing, and overseeing the entire construction lifecycle, all while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for collaborative teamwork and client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule construction activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Monitor daily operations on site to ensure work is progressing according to plans.
  • Manage onsite safety protocols and conduct safety audits to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Review design plans and make recommendations for improvements based on construction feasibility.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders regarding project updates and changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Master's degree in relevant field is an asset
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in handling large-scale construction projects
