Job Description

As a Brickmason Supervisor, you will oversee bricklayers and masons on-site, ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets while meeting safety standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating with other departments and guaranteeing project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of bricklaying teams.
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize project delays.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Review blueprints and project plans with the team.
• Implement effective communication strategies with all stakeholders.
• Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of materials.
• Support the project manager in budget tracking and cost control.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Facilitate employee training and skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Building and Construction or equivalent

Experience

• Proven experience in supervising construction projects
