Elder Care Aide

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Elder Care Aide to provide essential support and care to our elderly clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to improving the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' health and well-being.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their social interaction.
• Assist with mobility and ensure safety during transportation.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in Home Health Aide training is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in elderly care or a related field is a plus

Technical Skills

• Compassionate Care
• First Aid Certification

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Patience

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Dementia or Alzheimer’s patients: Experience in caring for individuals with memory-related issues.
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license to assist clients with transportation.
