Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at VetCare Group. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, providing preventive care, and performing surgeries. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to animal welfare and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat injuries and illnesses in animals.
• Administer anesthesia and perform surgical procedures.
• Develop wellness plans and preventive health care strategies for pets.
• Consult with pet owners about treatment options and costs.
• Collaborate with specialists when necessary for more complex cases.
• Keep abreast of advancements in veterinary medicine and continuing education.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for staff and clients.

Requirements

Education

• BVSc or equivalent degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in small animal practice

• Anesthesia Management

Certifications

• Veterinary Dentist Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
