Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Greenhouse Superintendent to oversee operations at our greenhouse facilities. The successful candidate will manage a dedicated team, ensuring optimal plant growth, health, and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating various landscaping equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Conducting regular checks of the equipment, performing basic repairs when necessary.
• Documenting and reporting maintenance issues.
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Implementing pest control measures and ensuring plant health.
• Maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring site cleanliness at all times.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas for improvements.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Landscaping certification is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience working in a golf course or landscaping environment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Heavy equipment operation
• Knowledge of plant care

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina
• Detail-oriented

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with tree pruning and maintenance: Hands-on experience in caring for trees and maintaining healthy landscapes.
• Ability to perform basic repairs: Skills in basic mechanical repairs of landscaping equipment.
