Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Compliance Officer who is passionate about regulatory compliance and risk management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to external regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will help devise compliance strategies, conduct audits, and lead training initiatives for staff, ensuring everyone is informed about compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance documentation is up to date and accessible.
• Coordinate with external auditors during compliance audits.
• Advise management on compliance issues and developments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks.
• Assist in formulating compliance budgets and resource allocation.
• Participate in industry forums and training to enhance compliance knowledge.
• Prepare presentations on compliance issues for stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Professional certification such as CCEP or CGEIT preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in compliance roles within a corporate environment

• Strong regulatory knowledge

Certifications

• Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
• ISO 31000 Risk Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Project management experience: Ability to lead compliance projects from conception to completion.
