Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will work closely with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements.
• Assist in strategic financial planning and risk management.
• Support management in financial reporting and planning.
• Develop and monitor budgets.
• Generate detailed financial reports for potential investors.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Educate and support junior staff within the finance department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of relevant accounting experience
