Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will work closely with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance.
• Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of relevant accounting experience
