DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer to facilitate agile deployment and enhance cloud infrastructure management in our dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to lead initiatives that shape how we deliver software services.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Work closely with the development team to facilitate application deployments.
• Monitor system performance and apply fixes as necessary.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Develop scripts for automation of repetitive tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Master's degree in DevOps or Cloud Computing is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Jenkins
• Ansible

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with serverless architecture: Understanding of serverless computing concepts and AWS Lambda.
• Background with network configuration: Experience with network setup and configuration for cloud-based services.
