Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing employee relations, recruitment processes, and supporting organizational development initiatives. You will work closely with management to ensure compliance with HR policies and foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
  • Support the HR Manager in policy implementation and employee engagement.
  • Handle employee relations issues and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate training programs and manage the professional development of employees.
  • Assist in the performance appraisal process and feedback mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR support aligns with business goals.
  • Participate in health and safety audits and initiatives.
  • Contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in HR Management is preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
