Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans aimed at enhancing their daily living skills and overall independence. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client physical and mental capabilities through clinical assessments.
• Design and implement targeted interventions to improve specific skills.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate client care.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in reports.
• Encourage clients to set and achieve personal health goals.
• Provide guidance and support for clients transitioning back into daily life.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working with rehabilitation clients

Technical Skills

• Rehabilitation Techniques

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Occupational Therapy Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Beginner
