Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Veterinary Technician, where you will play a vital role in providing care for animals in need. In this role, you will assist veterinarians in various tasks including examinations, treatments, and patient care, ensuring the well-being of our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health assessments and prepare animals for examinations.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
  • Administer treatments and medications as required.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Educate clients on preventative care and health checks.
  • Assist with the management of clinic appointments.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
