Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge projects in Cape Town. Your role will involve project management, design reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for mechanical projects from concept to completion.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients to gather requirements.
• Create and maintain project schedules and reports.
• Offer mentorship and training to junior engineers.
• Identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Review and approve design modifications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's in a related engineering field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of engineering experience with project management skills

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
